All tube ends are sealed and to give greater strength in the centre section, additional sheet metal is fully welded into the footwells. A special pedalbox is part of this structure designed to give the correct pedal arc for the low 'straight leg' driving position. The engine is placed well back in the frame to give perfect weight distribution.
